Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has called record-breaking teammate Youssoufa Moukoko "the biggest talent in the world right now" after the 16-year-old became the Bundesliga's youngest-ever player on Saturday.
Moukoko replaced Haaland in the 85th minute of BVB's 5-2 triumph at the Olympiastadion, just one day after turning 16, having been fast-tracked into the first team following his astonishing exploits for the club’s academy.
With 141 goals in 88 youth games, including 13 in just four appearances for the club's U19 side this season, the Cameroon-born striker was deemed ready for the pros, having been training with the senior squad full time since August this year.
"I would love to play alongside him," said Haaland at the final whistle in Berlin, having previously described the teenager as "much better than I was at his age".
"I think he's the biggest talent in the world right now. He's 16 years and one day old, that's amazing. He has a big career ahead of him. We're lucky to have him."
Haaland himself was the star of the show as Dortmund moved to within a point of leaders Bayern Munich, smashing in a four-goal haul in just over half an hour to set the course for the win.

"The play on the first goal was very nice," said the Norwegian. "The second was also very nice. The third I thought was offside but they were all nice.
"To be honest, I drank an energy drink at half-time and got some wings and everything was good."
The same can be said of Moukoko, who had six touches of the ball during his time on the pitch, while completing two passes, winning a third of his challenges and covering 0.74 miles (1.19km).
